At Maple Valley Farm, all of our lambs are raised close to the house, receiving daily interaction from the whole family—including our curious one-year-old. They grow up confident, social, and well-accustomed to people of all ages.

 

Valais Blacknose Sheep make exceptional children’s pets thanks to their naturally gentle, sociable, and inquisitive nature. Our lambs are exposed to a variety of livestock, chickens, and dogs, and they quickly become affectionate companions who love scratches, treats, and even climbing into your lap like a big dog.

Our Lambs receive a 6 in 1 vaccination at 6 and 10 weeks old, they also receive gudair (OJD) at 10 weeks old. 
Lambs will also leave the property drenched for worms and backlined for lice. See Health results & Testing for more info.

Males will also have their tails docked and be castrated prior to leaving.
