Wicket is our beautiful up-and-coming breeding girl, joining us from our friends at Xeroth Border Collies in NSW. She represents an exciting new direction for our program here at Love to Run Border Collies.

Gentle, sweet-natured, and naturally soft in temperament, Wicket adores people and happily assumes everyone is there to give her attention. She gets along wonderfully with all of our dogs and is politely submissive when meeting new canine friends. Wicket also lives harmoniously with our free-range chickens, lambs, cows, and horses, making her a pleasure to have on the farm.

Highly biddable and eager to learn, she embodies the temperament we value in our breeding dogs.

We anticipate her first litter in mid-2026. Waiting list now open.

Zeke is a fun-loving, social, and exceptionally friendly Border Collie with a truly bombproof temperament. He is confident and stable in all environments, fantastic with other entire males and incredibly gentle and trustworthy with our small child. Driven yet sensible, Zeke combines an outstanding work ethic with the ability to switch off and be an all-round, easy-living family dog.

Originally campaigned in agility, Zeke has sadly retired from the sport due to injury. Diagnostics available on request. He was a power house in the ring winning his classes from all qualifying scores.

His enthusiasm and versatility have seen him continue to shine across a variety of disciplines, including scent work, tracking (having titled TD), rally and obedience. He remains highly biddable, engaged and eager to work, thriving on a variety of challenges and loves learning new skills.

Beyond sport, Zeke has also proven himself in professional environments. He has worked on multiple advertising and modelling sets (including shoots for Snooza with Dr Katrina Warren), demonstrating an impressive ability to perform under pressure both for film and photographic work. With a solid repertoire of tricks and excellent environmental confidence, he is reliable, focused, and adaptable in busy, unfamiliar settings such as film sets and the Royal Melbourne Show.

Zeke embodies everything we value in a stud dog — sound temperament, sociability, drive and an exceptional off-switch. He offers a wonderful balance of working ability and family suitability, making him a valuable asset to breeding programs seeking stable, versatile, and people-oriented Border Collies.
